The Brindabella Bushwalking Club is based in Canberra, ACT, and offers a range of walking opportunities.  Until late 2011 it was known as the Family Bushwalkers Inc.  The BBC still offers a program of Family Bushwalks suitable for families with young children.

The club is affiliated with Bushwalking NSW (formerly the NSW Confederation of Bushwalking Clubs) and supports their Policy on Natural Areas.

The club issues a new walks program twice a year each covering six months of activities including bushwalks, urban walks, and other activities to suit all standards of walkers.  Day walks usually take place in Canberra, rural areas of the ACT including Namadgi National Park, and nearby New South Wales.

Prior to January 2017 this site had modified quarterly walking programs, with leader name and contact details shortened in the interests of privacy.  The last such modified program is for Oct-Dec 2016.  If you need more details of any activity or to contact the leader, use the contact form on this site.  From January 2017, the modified program includes most leader phone numbers, covers six months, and is provided as a PDF document.  The modified programs for Jan-Jun 2018 and Jul-Dec 2018 are now available.

The full program is available to members.  Follow “Members Access” for instruction on how to access the “Members Only” site.
